Hello Team:
This month will mark a significant moment in the story of our Y. Two weeks from now, we will gather as a team to celebrate all that we have accomplished as one incredible Y, together. Whether it was through the incorporation of much-needed community programs, approvals of critical funding or the welcoming back of our team and members, we have all contributed to the strength and momentum of our organization and should be proud of all that we’ve done in the last few years.
As an organization, we’re no stranger to gatherings. We know that our best and most fulfilling work is done in groups. Think about the Y and it brings to mind campaign kick-off events, team brainstorming sessions and board committees. On the 14th, our common goal is simple: connecting and celebrating while putting you at the forefront. To make this happen, we’re closing operations early at all Association branches and sites for the evening and designing the program to focus on what we’ve missed the most over the last few years. With a renewed sense of purpose, excitement and energy for what lies ahead, we find ourselves at the brink of something incredible. While an annual employee dinner has been a tradition for decades, this year’s event will be one for the books with an evening of fun and yes, surprises. I hope you’ll be there to join us.
While registration is filling up fast (a record 454 seats were reserved in less than 24 hours!), I’m told that there are a few spots left and I encourage you to be there. This event is about you - your dedication, your creativity and your spirit and I’m so pleased to have the opportunity to acknowledge all that you have done.
I look forward to seeing you all soon,
Victor |
